South Orange, N.J. – Josh Azer, an proven fundraiser and athletics administrator with a 10 years of experience raising money in guidance of scholar-athletes and athletics division initiatives, has been employed as the new Senior Affiliate Athletics Director for Progress at Seton Hall, Director of Athletics Bryan Felt ’97, MA ’05 announced Wednesday. Azer arrives to Seton Hall just after six years at Lafayette School, exactly where he was the Director of Athletic Progress and Executive Director of the Maroon Club.
Azer will commence his responsibilities at The Corridor on Wednesday, Oct 5 and will be charged with overseeing the Pirate Blue Athletic Fund, which will work with Seton Hall alumni and supporters to increase resources in aid of Seton Hall’s 14 varsity courses. In addition, Azer will serve as the sport administrator for softball.

With Azer at the helm, Lafayette’s Maroon Club had a banner fiscal calendar year 2022, elevating $1.84 million in once-a-year giving pounds which aid the 23 varsity Leopards applications. Prior to joining Lafayette, Azer put in four several years major fundraising initiatives as the Associate Director Orange & Blue Club/Assistant Athletics Director at Gettysburg College.
