In 2020 Yamaha planned the entry of a Yamaha R7 in the Suzuka 8 Hours, but due to the pandemic the race was cancelled. However, the bike was ready to enter the competition, with the appropriate decorations. Now, two years later, Yamaha will allow all fans of the brand and owners of the recent R7, to copy the design of the bike created for the mythical endurance test.

It is called «YZF-R7 YAMALUBE Exterior Set» and consists of a fairing kit with some changes in other components. This set is a replica of the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team, with black and blue combinations, small red accents and various sponsor notes. With this set, we were able to transform a banal Yamaha R7, into a motorcycle with a track appearance, to circulate on public roads.
